yes, it has a couple hundred bar in it when pressurized.
But in my experience dirty wheel sensors or corroded sensors have a lot more to do with bad abs function.
First thing I would do is backtrack from the wheel sensors along the cables to the connectors in the engine compartment. They all have a connector somewhere to the abs harness...these connectors' terminals become oxidized and high resistance...disconnect the connectors and clean them gently with some kind of oxidation cleaner or even TriMite WetRdry paper (I used WD40 to wet the paper, works ok, probably because it's just handy). Then lightly coat the terminals with conductive grease such as OxGard (used for assembly of copper/Al house wiring joints) and reassemble.
If this doesn't work, go back down to the wheel sensors and clean them. You may have to pull the rotors to get to the sensor which is generally put in parallel to the spindle, out about 2-3" and really close to a toothed wheel. Shine up the sensor with a little bit of sandpaper and make sure the toothed wheel isn't dented or damaged.
If none of this works, find a dealer or shop with the right/read Saab diagnostic equipment to check pressures and codes at the abs unit. I wouldn't advise replacing the accumulator on GP, it's not inexpensive ($100 or so) and a used one from a junkyard may be bad too.
