Keep in mind that this board is a gathering of all the people who are Currently working on saab fixes. It may give you a skewed view of the overall reliablity, longevity and most importantly SAFETY of these great 900s . There were over 300,000 of these cars built and if they were as bad as you're insinuating, this websit e would'nt exist. If you need further convincing I STRONGLY SUGGEST you read my previous posting on the subject (you are getting warmer..Thu 1 Feb 2001...), and the high milage saab list on this site.
Unless you like the idea of being the garlic in the garlic press,forget the hondas..some viseral footage of honda crash tests are available at the aussie highway safety website. Don't trade superficial convenience for the safety of you and your loved-ones.
