A friend told me that when I remove the head, I should have the head checked for flatness and ground flat if necessary.
He also said that I should have the valves rebuilt or something? COuld someone explain this to me? Are the valves replaced, or just cleaned up, or what? He said it would end up costing around $400 total. I just want the car to be reliable and run for a while, I simply dont have the money (college student) to fix everything just to make it in tip-top shape. Can I get by without messing with the valves?
