RS- What did you find at the pick n' pull? Maybe your right. All I know is what I've found from my experience. I've owned plenty of saabs (which does not make me an expert) and granted I'm a recent contributor, that doesn't mean that I'm an idiot. The point that I was trying to drive across is that, in general, people should check the application of their part prior to usage. I'm all for using compatible parts and saving $$$ when possible. Jimbo claims they're the same. I don't think they are. And BTW, the Bosch part numbers are different. The sensor intended for a 16 v would not thread into the 8v manifold. When I brought it back, the guy asked me "8v or 16v". I said "8v" and he returned with a different sensor. So perhaps you have the answer ???
