if they didn't loan you the peening tool. Then again, it saves you pulling the engine or struggling through trying to pull the timing cover in the car. The biggest problem with the roll-in chain is you can't examine or replace the other pieces that may really be responsible for the slack. If you don't know where the tensioner is or how to remove it, you obviously haven't checked the tensioner to estimate chain wear. Take a few steps back and reconsider carefully. What are you trying to solve?
