Nope - different slave cylinders. The brake slave is the caliper and the clutch slave pushes on the presure plate to release the clutch.
The brake master cylinder is attached to the brake fluid reservoir and the clutch master cylinder is a few inches below the brake master cylinder - it gets its fluid replenished by a hose that runs up to a nipple on the bottom of the brake fluid reservoir. That's the only interconnection between the brake system and clutch hydraulics.
For fitting a radiator hose on, IMO you're better off not using any kind of lubricant if only because anything that makes it easy to slip on also makes it easy to be bushed off under 15 or so PSI of pressure that develops in the cooling system when it's up to temperature.
