As engines wear, clearances increase, and idle oil pressure drops. 10w30 might have been a good choice when the engine was new. I think the factory spec'd anything between 5w30 and 15w40. I would suggest you try a quality synthetic 5w40 (thinner cold weight is for startup). Hot idle oil pressure being low is prima-facie evidence your oil is too thin. Idle pressure will change significantly depending on the oil weight, more so than any other RPM range. Like I said, I like to see 10-15 PSI hot.
