A 91 to be exact. This car has been rebuilt from corner to corner, but I must say this problem most likely existed when i bought her a couple years back.

Current status and repairs:

New rear calipers (adjusted to spec) and rebuilt front calipers
Full brake system has been bled following Bentley.
New tires on all 4 corners (TOYO Versado)
New pads on all corners, I believe they were PB metal masters ( would have to check records)
Entire front suspension rebuilt, from control arm bushings, Boge Turbo gas shocks.
Rear suspension is original (rear dampers might be the cause?)
I'm getting a BLINK of the ANTI LOCK light during the hard stopping (which I initiated as a test).

From the scant ABS writeup in Benley, both rear brakes are on a single system per the schematic; even tho there are individual sensors, it doesn't seem that the ABS could be turning on/off an individual rear brake caused by a faulty sensor input OR a faulty ABS output. The car does indeed swerve pretty hard to the left when this HARD braking condition was initiated. I thought for sure the new rear calipers would take care of this problem, but not so.

Bentley says swerving/pulling type issues are typically NOT ABS induced, but hardware. What else could it be but a suspension problem , perhaps the rear not articulating evenly when the nose dives during the hard braking?

I've got the BOGE Turbo gas dampers for the rear, and will be putting them in soon along with spring spacers to level the rear end with the front. Another panic stop test will be performed once the suspension work is complete.

Thanks, SAAB brothers.
