Rear suspension disassembly & inspection.... Started last night on the RR tire area. I've forgotten how bad removing the old shocks sucks, but this puts it fresh in my mind. Tonight I'll just cut off the rusted stud (top) right thru the rubber biscuit.
Bentley says to remove ABS sensor cables, E-brake cables, remove the sway bar (get it loose & hanging by front bolts). All of this with the car resting on a pair of SAABie scissor jacks!
I've got new shocks to install, and some STATEOFNINE (I think) coil spring poly spacers to attempt to raise the rear height of the carriage just a bit. I sure hope I find the LR shock dead, causing the LR tire lock-up due to uncontrolled suspension motion during decel.
A visual inspection of the brake lines, and nothing obviously crushed flat. If there is a blockage of fluid to the RR, then I believe a pressure gauge will show it. IF the suspension redux doesn't fix things, then I'll buy the pressure gauges (checks via the bleeder port) to determine if I have unequal pressure side to side.
Update coming......
