Have the spacer tool in and trying to get the whole Posted by CBS [Email] (#969) [Profile/Gallery] (more from CBS) on Sat, 28 Jun 2014 11:42:10 In Reply to: Thanks Chris; time to put it together n/m, CBS [Profile/Gallery] , Sat, 28 Jun 2014 10:54:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
assembly -- friction disc, pressure plate, and slave/bearing in as one piece. No go-- have the slave compress as far as it will go, about a centimeter and there is still half a centimeter of clutch hitting the side of the chain case. The starter housing and the bottom transmission plate are blocking me from getting it all in there moving from the top right side and trying to rotate it in. Do I need to remove the starter housing? Any tips would be appreciated.
Would the 3 fat nut trick help here? Maybe mount the friction disc and pressure plate first using the 3 fat nuts and THEN slide the slave/bearing in?
