the way it would drive the passenger nuts in just a short time ( just a little quicker than what I could stand) So invite the coworker that annoys you for a ride! Take advantage of lemons, make lemonaide!
In reality, the opinion of the motor is close. In my 93's the ACC tells it to come on and run and sacrifice it's little life for the cabin's passengers comfort. It's not like my first 99 Hatchback (74) with manual fan switch which I only ran when I damn well needed it. Oh, well we get older and we drive cars with more comforts and power servants than my house has. (My furnace has a fan that runs at one speed, not variable like upper end cars and the now new furnaces. Of course it's job is to RELIABLY heat and cool my house so I fight the desire to convert to a three phase AC motor, install a variable frequency drive for a 1/2 HP motor and get fancy variances of air flow to comfort my house and end up having a failure on a cold Saturday night of a complex VFD)
Ok, I'm getting off of my We're Too Spoiled soapbox.
