show up when the car is sitting. Sometimes springs just sag over time. It's possible but unlikely that you have a broken spring, but do check the spring mount itself for cracks. rust, etc. While the gas pressure Bilsteins will effectively increase the spring rate slightly, a sagging spring will still be there. It may or may not matter to you.
I had a slight sag in my old suspension but wasn't all that noticeable. I was replacing springs anyway (new Aero springs/shocks/struts), so no biggie. With this suspension (plus SAS sway bars) the ride is firm, but still OK on New England roads.
Meanwhile, I need to do shocks/struts on my daughter's '95 9K. Not sure what I'll do on that car.
BTW, get yourself a new set of rear sway bar outer bushings--the ones that connect to the lower shock mount. The steel inner sleeve bonds to the mounting bolt and the job will go faster if you can just cut the whole bolt off, and press the bushing out of the bar.
