If the car stays flatter in the curves, then the stress should be spread more evenly across each tire's contact patch. That should help the tires grip whether the surface is dry, wet or (as you previously reported) even frozen.
Bilsteins are I hope a step in the right direction. If it is a step too far, then there is a warranty-voiding way to make them adjustable. Bilsteins aren't right for everyone, but I think I'll like them. I was never more keenly aware of my car's suspension problems than when I drove it immediately after spending an hour racing go carts. It felt like driving a Jellomobile.
