When I replaced the blower motor on my CSE the amrateur was very worn from the brushes. I think what happens is the motor starts drawing more current which ends up melting the plug.
I informed Bill of the repair kit for the connector but it looks like it is no longer on eEuro website.
I found the following connector searching on "Connector" & looking for 4 pin. It is only the outer housing and does not include sockets.
