Hopefully they're gold plated - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
I found that those same pin connectors appear to be used in multiple places in the 9000, including the blower motor control, the radiator temperature sensor for the fan circuit (on cars up to about 1994) and the airbag crash sensors. When I needed one for the radiator temperature sensor wiring, I had a spare crash sensor and found that its connectors are gold plated; reused that one and it will probably last longer than the car.
In any case, the prebuilt connector assembly will save some time. When the wiring to my blower motor burned up, a couple of inches of wiring and insulation were ruined, so it's probably geared for that.
