This motor is fairly recent, about 6 years old, and the car was off the road for about a year due to transmission problems so the blower should have relatively little wear. At least that's what I'm going with for now since I really don't want to have to go in there again! Though if it were to burn out again after repairing the connector I'd have to figure the motor is drawing too much.
Thanks for the pointer to the connector housing, I may be able to get it to work with that if I clean up the connectors. I just ordered that, a new resistor pack, and a bunch of small unrelated stuff.
