Nice! I've been avoiding replacement of the condenser fan in my '97 CSE due to it being a real PITA job. (I have an OEM style replacement on hand.) Not only is the motor seized up on the fan that's in there, the fan blades have disintegrated. If it can come out using tin snips and use a generic fan easily put in its place I'll have to give that a try. Is there a model number, or maybe an amperage or CFM rating on that 8" fan?
I see how you mounted the fan on the left side of the photo using a strip of metal, how did you attach the other side?
My AC actually works OK without the condenser fan up to about 90 degrees or so outside temperature. As temperatures rise to the mid-90s the AC gets weak at idle.
