88 9kt also. I installed my Omni-Magnum behind left(driver side) headlight, mounted to inside of fender. I located the small triggering unit just above the left headlight. I had to re-locate the fuse box. Actually it just sits precariously behind the headlight- I really should zip tie it or something. I think a more professional installation is feasible. It looks like there is room to the left of the battery (if you're looking at it from front of car). A mounting plate could be fabricated easily that would attach underneath the battery, with a 90' bend that would mimic the wide face of the battery. Ignition could be mounted to this vertical surface. It seems like that would work. BTW... my shady set-up has been in effect for over 4 years with no problems.
