jacobs is pretty cautious about gap recommendations on turbo engines. They recommend increasing gap in .005" increments until a decrease in performance is experienced, and then backing off. Not the most scientific approach. With stock boost(11 psi) you should probably be able to use .035" or more. With only the stock gauge as a yardstick, I would guess that my max boost approaches 18 psi(group-6 APC, exhaust mods, etc.) I've been running .032" for gap with NGK 7's- and that's probably a bit much. Just changed them (I don't know if it's the Jacobs system or the boost, but I eat plugs :5k-8k miles) and they showed signs of overheating. I threw in some Torque Master plugs, which have a set gap. Mixed results so far- I think I have a mixture problem screwing things up.
