Since I'm a basic mechanical klutz, I'm glad anything I've done is of help to anyone :-) On this note, however, I've been doing a little tweaking on the 95 and one of the things I noticed is that the fan belt I selected seems to be just a tad long -- too much play for my taste, and the generator is adjusted as far out as it can go. So this next week or so I'm going to take it off and carefully measure so I can but a couple of slightly shorter ones and see how it goes.
One other thing I never followed up on is how to wire the thermostat so that the fan shuts off when the ignition is cut. I have it wired directly to the battery now, so the fan continues on until the temp. actually goes down far enough to cut the switch. Since the fan is louder than the engine, I get lots of comments like, "Hey, you left your car running..."
