antenna trigger Posted by MJM [Email] (#872) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MJM) on Mon, 13 Nov 2000 08:38:17 In Reply to: Oops! Here's the answer, SteveH, Sat, 11 Nov 2000 18:38:51 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm not planning on upgrading my system, so I've only sort of been following these audio threads, but I would like to modify the operation of the antenna. There is no need for it to go up when I'm just listening to tapes or CD's, which is about 75% of the time.
Could you describe a bit better what this antenna trigger is? I'd guess it's like a TTL pulse thats triggered by turning the radio on. Which pin in which connector is it? If it's just a pulse output from the radio, I'd love to put a switch in to break that connection and prevent the antenna from going up when it's not needed.
thanks!
Mike
