The pin out diagram is from a 2000 9-3. If you have a 900, the pin outs are definitely different.
The +15 wire can be used to trigger the amp to turn on, but do not use it for an amp's main power supply. I'm not sure what other things in the car get powered by the +15 wire, but it's total load can only be 15 amps. Many amps require more than that by themselves. The +30 wire is always on, even when the car ignition is off, and is the main power supply to the radio head unit. Do not use it to power an amp either.
The main power supply wire for an amp should come directly from the positive lead of the battery, with an inline fuse as close to the battery as possible. The Amp On connection from the head unit just triggers the amp to switch on.
