Only manual-transmission SE from June'99 and later had High Output Turbo . . . and it may not have been a physically different turbo but merely in programming (unlike the Aero vs. regular in 9-5 models around that time). So HOT may not have been desirable, although the pressure difference wasn't huge, 200hp vs. 185hp.

SE had 16" wheels, powered seat and automatic climate control. I deliberately picked an S convertible in order to avoid all three. The 15" wheels ride softer, and the manual seat and temperature dial controls have less to break or malfunction.
