well if I am going to spend that $ I would just go 3" for several reasons! )1 folks say it sounds better ! 2 theoretically, the turbo will spool up faster 3 if I go to sell the car most enthusiasts want 3" 4 no reason not to ! ( no disadvantage! ok I get "it'(2 1/2 " is good up to:-----) but to me, thats not an advantage , at best only a neutral! I like that guys have choices ! as it's a turbo, after the turbo, there is no exhaust tuning really except for sound. the only downside I see is cost and poss ground clearance issues and I hear all nicks systems are good in that area! I think as it "does not make any difference ", I'd go 3"! besides if the car gets totaled i'd take the good parts off and sell them 3" is much more marketable aftermarket used ! folks, that already have a 3' DP to 2.5" rest of system seem to be just justifying what they have and maybe not wanting to spend more ?
