Wow very interesting, but why not fix the leaky turbo seals? LOL! I would not let a known fault go on very long IMHO! can you say deferred maintenance ! please remind me not to buy a used car from you ! sadly this seems to be typical of Americans! we wonder what else you don't / haven't / won't fix ? .still it's your car ! ................................................ We use Shell Rotella T-6 5 W-40 full synthetic and this giant filter on our viggen the larger wix, et all is a good fix too IME And, yes we do 5K OCI As for coolant? we use Dex-cool as specified by GM. We will be converting to Evans Waterless coolant however along w/ new hoses, water pump and thermostat and will add a full flow coolant filter as used in many trucks! The goal is a lifetime coolant that will cool MUCH better ( as Evans does ! - It has a plethora of advantages, as it boils @ 375 deg F hence it never boils and does not cavitate or pressurize the system so leaks MUCH less ! )
