.....and probably faster than 90 mph. The speed indicated on the speedo shows how fast the car was going as indicated by wheelspeed when it made contact with the tree. That car slid sideways for quite a bit before hitting, scrubbing off most of the wheelspeed before impact. Think about how fast you have to be driving to reduce wheelspeed to 90 kph when you get sideways.
