about the impact speed. In this case, the entire powertrain (including the speedo cable/transducer) was ripped out of the car. Why the needle came to rest where it did is difficult to determine from just photos. We all know that once power is removed (transducer) the needle should return to its normal resting position as in most wrecked cars (cable or transducer). I agree the the car had to be travelling faster than 90KPH.
