Oddly enough, I cannot remember when I was last tailgated. Not sure if this is just luck, or (most likely) if I am just not that sensitive to tailgating. I think that for the most part, unless someone is so close that I cannot see the license plate, and is obviously playing games, it doesnt register with me as an annoyance. However, instead of having to deal with tailgaters, it seems that there is ALWAYS someone doing either exactly the speed limit, or 5 under, right in front of me, in a place where I cant pass (especially in Bethlehem, near Albany NY). THAT is my screaming, grade A, #1 annoyance when I drive. Usually (like this morning) its some grandma weaving around in an Oldsmobile, doing 45 in a 55 zone on a wide, smooth 2 lane back road thats just begging for 65! Makes me wish I had that in-car megaphone that cops have, so I can bellow at her "SPEED UP YOU OLD BAT!!!"
