I think your major concern would be sludge formation as the engine will never heat in cold weather. A block heater might help with getting the temperature up. If you make sure to get the car on a longer drive once a week so the engine gets hot and stays hot for a while you may not have to be concerned about the oil. Maybe oil changes 2x per year? Secondary concern would be the exhaust system rusting out sooner. But that is just a straight forward cost to replace if that happens.
I'd also consider buying a bicycle to ride to the train station. It would likely be faster than driving. Or consider a used moped or scooter.
