they are in most things that you see everyday and they are getting even more integrated into everyone's life.
A "Computer art" major could design/build web-sites (as we all know that is becoming more and more popular). Most computers have a graphical interface, someone has to make them look nice. I work on the business side of computers (financial/HR PeopleSoft system). This may sound boring, but these systems are so diverse and big, I rarely do the same thing each day and I rarely get board. There are all sorts of fields that you can go into with a computer degree. There are not that many fields that you can go into with an art degree. As the others have said, just be sure you are happy doing what you are doing? I decided to turn down an opportunity in Atlanta for contract work making big bucks, simply because I didn't want to leave my new daughter and wife for four days a week. Call me stupid, but I'm happy with the decision.
Richard P. '99 9-3SE HOT PeopleSoft System Admin.
