I know you're not a fan of VW/Audi (to put it mildly). Where do you get those #'s for how many hours the Saabs and V-dubs can run at max. output? I think it's great if Saab "overengineers" its engines, but I'm not convinced that VW is that inferior.
At 114,000 miles, our A-4 must be almost gone, according to your figures. It seems to be running as good as new, however.
