Wasn't a Saab Direct ignition cassette pretty much the same as all the coil on plug stuff we see lately including all the motorcycles at our shop?
DI is direct injection which refers to directly injecting gas into the combustion chamber instead of spraying it into the port, right? Seems to me that DI direct injection has been in a lotta' asian cars.
Both Mitsubishi and Toyota have had quite a few turbos in years past IIRC.
