Random thought, but this thread had me thinking. The Asis trans should bolt directly to the b234 engine and both trans have cable driven shifters. I wounder how much work it would be to use that trans in a 9k.

They are a dime a dozen right now with ng900s being so common a junkyards.

At very least you'd have to fab a new mounting bracket and switch computers. Maybe move over the kick-down hardware?

Probably not worth it since the 9k trans really isn't that bad.
