Re: Distributor Options for B202 motor - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
The pickup wheel is in good shape, no corrosion or visible damage, although I have not pulled it off the shaft yet. The MS-II controls the advance and retard, so the vacuum unit is removed anyway.
I went ahead and ordered the Hall sensor from Eeuroparts, so we'll see if it fixes it. But I would still like to get another good distributor. I was wondering if excesive play in the shaft could cause some problems? My plug at the distributor is pretty cooked, so I need to rewire the Hall sensor anyway.
