So I received the replacement Hall sensor that Eeuroparts sells. It is a Hall sensor, but is much smaller/thinner than the stock one. And the mounting holes do not line up. It seems to make it work I need to drill out the original mounting studs, drill new mounting holes and make a shim. Seems a tad over complicated and I'm nervous about keeping things aligned. Has anybody done this? Any other options?
I'm searching for a used distributor now to at least have a spare.
