Hello NCCaniac,

As 1 Owner Sonett stated you can have your local radiator shop diagnose your problem by either a visual inspection or by pressurizing the cooling system. FYI As they get old coolant hoses become less flexable and engine movements/vibrations will be transfered to fixed items like the radiator and heater core valve. After time someting is going to give way to this transfer of energy. Removing the radiator from the bottom of the car is perhaps easier when the front clip is still in place. New colant hoses maybe good money/time spent on protecting your repair job. Good luck!
