Hey, great advice. My Sonett would just be a major lawn ornament without your help.
The problem for me is that the bolt extends far away beyond the nut, to about a cm from the curved portion of the starter housing. I can't get a closed wrench or socket to make the turn to get on it. Do you think the bolt was backed off out of the engine block and then the nut was tightened with an open wrench? Who would do that?
Maybe I'll have to pull the engine to get at the thing as a last resort. Bu then that means tackling that lower exhaust nut...Oh my.
