Thanks for everyone who have responded.
The color of the liquid was yellowish/oily-ish ... that's one of the
reasons why I wasn't quite positive that water was what I was supposed
to put in. I did buy a container of coolant so I guess next time, I'll
try doing the mixture thing.
I will definitely look out for whether or not the level declines
dramatically within the next several weeks. Thanks for the info.
In regards to water--I hadn't thought of that... do you think running
tap water through one of those Pure filters would be good enough?
By the way, my SAAB is a 9000CS Turbo w/175k mileage.
