I was broadsided by an Oldsmobile Toronado in my 9-3 and it felt more like a speed bump.
My wife was rear-ended in her 9-5 by somebody going quite fast in a new Camry. The Camry was totalled and had to be towed away. The driver went to the hospital even though she wore her seatbelt. My wife was fine and, although the rear of the car was heavily squished, she could drive it away. It was amusing that the came up telling her to check her taillights after the accident. The police and firemen were very impressed. My wife did not even get a stiff neck.
Yes, I will buy another SAAB because of this.
ps. As they were working on the car, they kept finding that the damage was less than estimated. This goes against the norm where typically there's more damage inside.
