Dunno exactly what mnodel it is 9-3 2.0 T on the trunk and Arc on the Window spec sheet. But Sure is Pretty in it's white grey colour. Opening the hood proved a shock though. Venerable saab engine is umm .Gone!
Dunno What that thing in there is? Ecopower ?? Some goofy 4 cyl with a plastic dishpan cover over it.. Why? is just too ugly to be exposed to daylight? I've been a Saab owner since '84 and thought I'd buy another new one.. knowing all the pitfalls/reliability issues all too well.
But I'm genuinely afraid of this unfamiliar motor.. and these are hard earned $ I would be writing a cheque for.
I mean if it was a GM LT1 350 I'd be all over it But a turbo'd Twincam Motor from GM Scares the willies out of me..OR am I just being cowardly here.
