can you swap B23X engine for the B207R in 9-3 Posted by Gregg [Email] (#677) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gregg) on Mon, 11 Nov 2019 09:40:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
After my wife's car was totaled in an accident last month we are looking to buy our next Saab and our first 9-3 in an 01 Vert.
Considering this will be our first foray into the 207R engine is it possible to swap out an B234 or 5 engine and get it to fit in the engine bay.
I'm sure anything is possible with enough money thrown at it? Is this a reasonable swap? What little I've seen is the 234 engine is more bombproof than the newer 207R? If this is incorrect I'm happy to leave it be.
FYI we are looking at '06 9-3 wagon to replace the old wagon
Thank you in advance for your help.
