Very nice looking vehicles inside and out. Acceleration is outstanding.
Consumer Reports reported last November that reliability is a mixed bag, though that may be more the way results were interpreted than actual problems with the vehicles.
No idea about longevity or crash resistance..
Have no idea about resale value. I assume it’s high due to demand.
There may still be taxpayer subsidies for their purchase.
No electric vehicle is ‘green and clean’ other than at the tailpipe. (Electricity has to be generated somehow and, if you’re in SoCal, large areas of the desert and grasslands are being industrialized for ‘green’ solar and wind farms.)
Why not a standard hybrid vehicle? Less expensive and perhaps more reliable, though it won’t have the ‘wow’ factor a Tesla has.
Good luck with your purchase!
