We own a Saab 9-3 2007 Aero V6 with approx. 80k miles travelled.
The air conditioner had been re gassed by a reputable technician twice, on both occasions, the system was fine and in the 1-2 hours post service, operated perfectly. Some 1 week later (car had not been used) , AC is not working, ie compressor clutch does not engage and no air cond. After second regas (no gas lost and all pressures correct, same event occurred.
Current ambient temp is approx. 70F.

Background
Dash fan increases in speed when AC Button pressed but no compressor engagement. Similarly, when button pressed again, dash fan speed slows.

AC unit loses a small quantity of gas over 2 year period, hence the reason for the initial regas.

We have owned car for approx. 8 years.

My thoughts are an electrical issue, but keen to hear from the bulletin board team.
