2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T Pre-purchase Questions

Hello ,
This week I went and test drove a 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T Automatic with 71,000 miles. The car is a one owner and drove great. It was referred to me by a local Saab Mechanic (The Duke of Saab/ in Plaistow NH) who has serviced the car. I am really excited at the prospect of owning a Saab again after some years away, down the rabbit hole of other makes and models.
There are however a few things that are giving me pause before I take the keys. This 9-3 will be my daily driver, and I am concerned about ECU and ignition switch issues. Along with other electrical system breakdowns.
Being a 06' this car also still has the button dash. Which in the car I drove presented well with no peeling to flaking and all the screens worked with no dead pixels. I prefer the look and feel of the button dash to the later, more simple dials and radio. But am also concerned about replacement and longevity go these components.
All that being said, I love Saabs and having owned more than a few OG9-3s, 9000, C900 and NG900s. I do understand they are not going a faultlessly as perhaps a older Honda or Toyota might and that is OK with me. I just don't want something I can't fix of keep on the road.
Any insights or thoughts of your experiences with your 9-3s are appreciated. How have you dealt with the issues I have outlined? Any other systems or components you are all having troubles with?
Thank you
