ECU: It will likely fail eventually. Easily solved: Pick up a spare ECU, used, and clone your ECU to the spare using Trionic Canflasher. Free, no Tech2 required. Carry it in your trunk, along with a 10mm socket wrench and a Torx driver to get the beauty cover out of the way, and then it takes about 10 minutes to swap in the replacement ECU if your original fails on the road, and you're on your way. Used T8 ECUs seem to be running around $350 these days.
Replacement dash buttons are available from places like this: https://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/DC/6551-05855841.html
On the 2006 9/3, I think probably the most common serious problem is soft intake valves that eventually have to be replaced. So, check the compression before buying.
