I dimly remember having this issue. When I disabled the seat belt chime, the passenger seat belt light would be on all the time, even if there was no passenger in the seat. But when the chime was enabled, the light behaved as you would expect: no passenger meant no light.

I fixed this by changing another setting in the Tech2, but at the moment I can’t remember what it was.

If you can confirm that this is the issue you’re having, I’ll surf through my settings and see if I can remember what I did to solve it.
