Hello,
Just use super glue. That is what Saab sold as the glue to hold the shifter knob on 9-3ss. It was part number 93 165 228. Sometimes it takes a try or 2 to get the correct amount on. If you use too much "within reason" it will break free and not cause an issue. If you use too little it will fall off again. Good Luck, Bernie
