It may be the common problem of the two lifting arms on each side front channels of the moon roof. These lifting arms normally raise the front wind deflector when you open the mood roof. However, they can be prone to becoming disconnected or broken off which jams the mood roof from completely opening or part opening. The lifting arms are available for replacement in pairs. Fairly easy to replace if you can open the moonroof to see them on each side . Nice video on YouTube. If that is the problem you can just google "SAAB Moon Roof Arms". YouTube also has a video of how to manually close or open the moon roof with a screwdriver if needed.
