What causes my moonroof isn’t working properly ?

Hello, members of The SAAB Net.

I recently bought a 08 SAAB 9-3 Aero, I’m having great experience with it. Most of the problems this car has are aging issues, some of them can be fixed by just cleaning it up. But there’s only one thing I couldn’t figure out how to fix it, or what even happened to it: Moonroof.

First, it was totally dead, I thought the motor might be broken, but later I discovered it’s just missing a 15A mini fuse. So I went to AutoZone bought some fuses, installed one on the fuse box, the moonroof started working, but very strangely. Push the control button up will raise the glass, push forward will move it to half open, push backward will close it. Later on it just stuck in half open, I can’t close it, until I decide to drive back home first, it closed by itself.

I don’t know if this is the way it supposed to be? Anyone want to share some thoughts you have?
