2004 Stalling - Thought that was fixed???

We had a 2003 Linear 5-speed that had the stalling issue. Had it in 4 times but they could not seem to fix the issue. Saab was nice enough to replace the vehicle with a brand new 2004.

We have had our 2004 Linear 5-speed for 3 days and today it stalled!

Thought this was fixed in the 04 models. Anyone else having this problem with their 04? If so, is it a Linear, Arc, Aero, etc? Wondering if this is model specific, manual/auto etc...

I have heard less and less about this on the board and am beginning to wonder if it is our enviornment (coasting down big hills), or our driving style (grannie), or a combination of both.

The 'cause' is always the same, engine is cold (within first 5 min of driving), speed between 35-40mph. Take it out of gear and coast... BAM bye bye engine. It only happens maybe 1 out of 10 mornings, but that is more than enough to make us uncomfortable driving this vehicle.

Something new on the 2004 is the engine stays sort of 'locked out' so you can not restart it until you stop and turn the key off. The 2003 would just restart while rolling.

Would like to hear about experiences of others with this issue..
